Weekly rec-post 1
Sep. 27th, 2010 06:40 pmThe theme for the first rec-post: humour! Please rec us your favourite funny fics/vids/comics, be they crack or perfectly canon-compliant or darkly satirical, or whatever else. Fics (etc) in which humour isn't the sole genre are game as well, as long as it features prominently. All ships and gen are welcome! Rec away!

Why it's great: (optional, but we'd love to hear it! A favourite quote would be fine too)
Link(s): (if the story is posted in several places, it'd be great to have links to all of them, since that way we're less likely to lose it in the future, but that's not required. You can also put the link in the title if you want. Please don't just repost art unless you have the artist's permission.)
If there's any response, we'll do these rec-posts every week; if you have any wishes for them, post them here.

Warnings (if applicable): none that I can think of, other than that this is goofy and OOC and may induce prolonged giggling.
Summary: A weekly card game - and no, it's not Magic and Wizards - at the Mutou's has Yuugi terrified.
Why it's great: This story. published in 2002, was one of the very first YGO humor fics I read, and I still laugh out loud while reading it.
Yami jogged down the stairs and opened the front door. Seto Kaiba stood on the front walk, clearly disgusted with the low quality of the lawn's maintenance. His blue jacket, which was clearly made to be extravagant, had its sleeves and end blowing in the wind. He kicked at a piece of dirt before facing Yami.
Yami licked his finger and held it in the night air. "There isn't a breeze."
"So? Your point?" Seto growled hostilely. Yami pointed to the end of Seto's jacket being tossed around in the invisible wind.
"I didn't spend ten thousand dollars for this jacket without good reason," Seto commented coldly as he walked past Yami and into the living room.
